I saw them on eBay and then checked out the site. Kind of a neat idea, and something i think a lot of people might like.

OK, after seing that, now I m sure....... if the new Bad Horsie jem comes with leds, i wont buy it. IMHO those leds just looks so cheesy and cheap....

They didnt look that bad on the jem (I know it s different kind of led, and they are placed over the freatboard) in the context of the concert (because it was for only one song, and Vai was wearing those laser "gloves"). But, outside that particular situation, I think they would look horrendous.

Even if the new jem comes with leds *(it most certainly WONT*) you dont have to turn em on.

That defeats their purpose entirely.

And if you honestly believe that the pictures in catalogues accurately represent what you'll end up getting, then I'd suggest you never put much hope in buying things you haven't seen in person first.

I think these things are pretty cool. I think I'll try a set of red ones for my UV777BK, I'll let you know how they are.

I'm with Two Hands. Those things probably don't glow nearly as much as they do in the photos they show there, and in a well lit room, I would imagine they'd be near invisible.

Still kind of cool though. I think they would look kind of cool on the bottom of the fretboard as well...sort of shining up into your hand!
