Probably the best killswitch

Hey everyone! I recently modded my Jem with a killswitch and thought I'd share the story since it turned out so well. Most killswitches I have tried are these really small buttons that don't perform all that well. The one that always grabbed my attention was the large one on the buckethead gibson, you could just tell that it's easy to use by watching it in videos. After some research it turns out the "pro" arcade buttons are called "sanwa" buttons and are pretty easy to find online for cheap. I didn't do the installation but I'm going to do a video soon with the guy that did so he can explain some of the wiring setup. Sounds pretty straightforward though. As far as mounting the button, in the 7VWH it couldnt be easier actually. By coincidence the button has it's own mounts that attach perfectly to the thickness of the pickguard. So all you have to do is drill a hole in the pickguard and the button will pop right in and have a tight fit.
Not everyone cares about killswitches but then can be a lot of fun and get some really cool sounds so just thought I'd share what I did. Here is a video with it if you want to see what it looks like and some of the sounds you can get out of it.

I've been using kill pots and love them.
