PSA - How To Pick Your Combo Lock

I've been meaning to write this for some time but just got around to it [trying to avoid more pressing work]. Hopefully this will save a case or two from the typical destruction so many of us are use to seeing.

Nice!
Thanks for that.
I've usually done the spin-all number-combinations-until-you-feel-the-latch-loosen method that can take up to a 1/2 hour to do.

Re: PSA - How To Pick Your Combo Lock

Very Cool!

I have also seen on some UV1000C's that the base holding the tounge on, on the upper lid of the case, is screwed in instead of riveted so that if you forget the combination you can just unscrew the base holding the tounge and you can open the case with that removed.

Re: PSA - How To Pick Your Combo Lock

Will this work for breaking into other people's cases too?
