Raw wood body.. problems???

Hey guys!
Well, i'll be putting my modified Schecter back together soon, and i have a question about it...
I've sanded all of the paint off the body, and done some mods to the body itself. Now, i can't afford paint, so i was just wanting to put it all back together and play it like it is until i can buy paint. My Dad warned me that the wood will soak up the oils from my hands and stuff, and that the body may warp. The soaking up of oil, i can see, but would it affect anything? And wouldn't i have to expose the body to some pretty extreme temertures before it warped on me?
Please respond soon!
Thanks !!!
Ben

The body is a thick enough piece of wood, so it probably won't warp. The oils, however, will likely cause problems with paint adhesion. You should at least spray a sealer coat to protect the wood a bit until you can fully paint the body.

Thanks Brian!
So, would, for example, an acrylic sealer work? Thats all that i have right now.
Thanks!
