Replacement Edge Lo-pro Trem Arm, will this work???

Hey Guys,

During my visit at my local guitar store I spotted a trem arm and thought it would work for a replacement in my Edge Lo-Pro on my 550.

Before I go and do any mods to the trem I wanna know if this model arm will work ok. Link is below!

Yes, you can fit those perfectly fine. Some people like me, actually prefer them, because its a shorter arm and therefore gives a much more "Direct" feel, as opposed ot the spongyness of the original arms.

Do be aware though that the holder on the Edge baseplate has flatted sides, and the FR assembly is totally round. You may have to very, very slightly flat off one side or both of the floyd assembly to fit it. I've changed one for the other before and NOT had to do that though, so your mileage may vary. All I had to do was apply a little pressure and it slotted right in.

I have modded a few of them into different Ibbys.

Excellent!

The spongyness was my reason behind wanting to change the trem arm. Although I love the Edge, any floyd I've ever owned had a great tight feel with the bar.

Thanks!!
