RG Projects - Need your ideas & help

Below are two RG's I just recently bought. Basically they were laying in a pile of guitars in some run down shop being used for parts

Anyway here are a couple pics of each. The top one I'm not sure on the model but the purple/blue is a RG560

First I'm wondering if anyone can tell what type of wood the top one might be. I tried doing research and came up with Ash????? Also do they sell Woodstains in blue? I am *wanting to do a JS1000TB finish on it? Thx! I'll keep everyone posted and put up pics as I make progress. Plz give me any ideas and help you can!

Route out the trem cavities so they are deeper, also route the bit of the cavity where the trem posts are mounted. It'll give you more pull up on the bar. A lot of fun! Also you could try getting steel rivets put in the neck, so that you can get the neck tighter to the body (also improves sustain). I had this done to a guitar (now gone) and it was well cool! Bit disconcerting when you hear something go crack when you pull the bar up, and I did destroy 1 or 2 trem bars, but it was brilliant fun!

i believe that red one might be 22-fret rg350.
i have one from '89. it's metallic red with maple neck.
i'm sure mine is made of jelutong, but i have never seen what that sort of wood actually looks like.
i sure hope it's same like yours.
also, my guitar originally had trs trem and gotoh pick-ups.
that trem cavity of yours sure looks like trs to me.
.....
if you want me to send you scan from catalog, post reply or send me e-mail.
i believe it is 1990 catalog.
i hope i'm not wrong about this one.

Neven do you have the Japanese catalogue from 90 or American. Either way can you scan the RG pages and email to me? Thx! Also the top did have a TRS101 but I had to throw it away. The neck is 22 fret but it's rosewood closest model I've seen is a Japanese RG450 or 480.

The tope one with the half sanded body is a Japanese only model. *Not sure about the 560 though. Thx for the scans by the way.

Scott.
