RG421 project

Just scored a Rg421 body, now I need a bridge. I would like to use the same mounting holes, will a tightend bridge line up? Or do I have to buy an original? I'd like to mount a Gibraltar plus, but I think some of the original mounting holes will show, and I'd rather not fill and have to repaint.

Question Re: RG421 project

Is there anybody out there? Really? No one? No one's got a sug.? No one's got a clue? I thought this was the "definitive" Ibanez go-to site for questions... Wow!... I think,... I may be on the wrong chat site. Sorry to be a bother. I think I will go and google myself now.... Moving on...

Re: RG421 project

You're asking a difficult question that most people wont know the answer to, then getting upset when you dont get a timely response? -.-

Anyway,
Gibraltar plus has a special routing, no good, lots of work. The gibraltar standard may fit...

Re: RG421 project

My mistake, didn' realize Ibanez doesn't have that many hardtails. Thanks for the response, but for a minute(or a day)there, I thought I was in the twilight zone. Anywho, so for this post to NOT be totally useless, here's part of my Samurai build, work in progress...

Ibanez RG421 has the gotoh fixed bridge as far as i know.

Stewmac sells them. But you won't get the original cosmo black color.
