RG7620 feels REALLY stiff... my 9's feel like 10's! Help!

I have no clue what could be going on here, but my RG7620 feels really, really stiff.... compared to my 7421's and my other 7620, it is a big difference.
The guitar isn't set up differently from my other ones; 9-56 strings, nearly straight neck (and if anything, this neck may be a little more straight than my others), nut height is pretty much identical to my favorite 7421.... the action may be slightly higher than my others, but not by much.
the guitar has the lo pro edge 7 bridge, but it is blocked. my other guitarist played it and noticed the difference right away, and agreed that it felt like the guitar has 10's on it instead of 9's. Bending is noticeably tougher all over the board, and it feels harder to push down on the first few frets of the guitar.
if anyone has any clues to what it could be, please help!

well, the only thing is, its blocked both ways (trem can neither dive nor pull up), so that stuff shouldn't matter, right?

Check and make sure the angle on the trem is parallel to the body....

That would explain why it feels stiff.

huh, so you're saying that i should block it to where the trem can only be dive-bombed, then? i can try that. will that make it difficult to change tunings? my band uses drop A and standard tunings.

If you are only blocking the pull-up you should be fine with tunings.
