Hi all!
A few years ago I bought a used RGR321EX (Serial Number I090144316) here in South Africa, I found that the truss rod would not turn, eventually I removed the fret board and removed the truss rod, I found that the truss rod did not turn as it was welded at the hex nut part.
I replaced the truss rod and glued the fret board back on. guitar plays fine now.
Is this normal that these guitars had these welded truss rods or could this have been a fake guitar? The pickups and hardware all seems authentic.
Only other example ive seen of this was a truss rod that came out of a fake gibson les paul.
