Rounded truss rod end - is it possible to fix?

Hi!

I have problem with truss rod end in my RG1527. It rounded off after many years despite using original Ibanez tool.
Is it possible to replace just this end of truss rod? If yes - is it easy to do?

I think the truss rod looks quite fine... whatīs your problem?
Maybe you need to push up the tool a little more to "grab" the rod?
Usually, there is no need to adjust the truss rod if you donīt change the string gauge, so maybe there may be another (neck) issue...?

All I can se is that trus rod nut should be replaced. It can be 7mm or 8 mm

IBANEZ RULES!! - PARTS FOR SALE
4TRN007MM 7mm

or
4TRN008MM 8mm
I asume it is 7 mm but you can measure.

Prestige truss rod nuts are 7mm, it seems it was damaged from improper tools/use? When you use the Ibanez tool there is a really snug/deep fit and you would never damage a nut like that.

Agree with the other posters, that nut is not rounded, just the very top edge. A properly fitting tool will still work fine.
