Scalloping

you know i'm willing to bet money this has been asked before so i'm really sorry but anyways I scalloped frets 21-24 on my RG neck (thanks for the tutorial brian) anyways and I was wondering what sizes are the round files for the rest of the frets? I.e. the 1/4" for frets 21-24. so I was just wondering what size files you guys use for the rest of your necks. next questions are there any advantages to scalloping the whole neck? other than the time and effort required to do 24 frets.

The way I always did it was just to use sandpaper wrapper around various items...for the 24th I heard a whammy bar works good, and for the rest I would just use the whammy bar or a pen.

Yea I'm debating ripping out the inlays anyways, but after reading jupiters story I dunno if I want to go through all the fun of finding the proper filler etc I used a 1/4" dowl wrapped in 50 grit for frets 21-24 and it worked real good, I'm digging around the house looking for other appropriately sized objects to wrap sandpaper around but I'd like 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc opinions thanks
