I don't know about the '59, but I have had excellent results with Duncan pups in my 560. I had an SH-6 in the bridge and it rocked.

Hi, the 59 is a good PAF replica. Check the Duncan Humbuckers Page and also the reviews at harmony central . There are some reviews from numerous Ibanez players who modded their axes with Duncans.

Good Luck!

I use a 59 in the neck of my Heartfield Elan II (a Fender PRS copy built by the Ibanez Fujigen Gakki facility!), and I'm very pleased with it. It's warm and articulate, and suits the neck position very well. It sounds lovely clean, and I imagine the RG's basswood body would add a breathy quality to the tone that my mahogany & maple Elan can't muster... If you want a yea or nay, I'd say go for it!

I've had a '59 in my strat in the neck position for years now, and I think it's pretty sweet.

The '59 is standard equip on the neck pos. of the washburn N4 - and is awsome. *Very warm, and affectionate.

hi people.

i have the SD '59 in my S540 neck, it's a gd PU for warm tones (like what trapzilla said), nothing harsh. i somehow feel that it's naturally scooped-toned, i did raise the pole-pieces to give it a mid boost...

i also have the lil' '59 in my RG560 neck. if u guyz r particular abt string alignment then do well to avoid this PU. the pole pieces spacing was made to cater to fenders, so lignment is off. but the tone fr this unit pleases me. it's tonally diff fr its full sized sibling, it's more trebly.

Would you mind please writing in proper English in the Forum?

If English isn't your first language, then please accept my apologies for being rude.

But please don't use warez kiddie abbreviations like "u", "r", "gd", "abt" and "fr" as substitutions for "you", "are", "good", "about" and "from".

Thanks.

I have a 59 in the neck on one of mine. Sounds great. Real, real warm. Duncan pickups are great.

TO DARREN WILSON:

it helps to be quick when one posts replies from the office. i would have taken my time & avoided unnecessary abreviations if there were no risks of being caught... some people are simply deprived of the luxury of an internet connection at home.

No offence taken.
