String tree placement on Strat copy

Hi! I have just bought a neck from Warmoth to my self builder project, and i was wondering if there are any rules of placing the string tree or if I should use one or two trees? Hope you guys can help me... I know it's not an Ibanez but it's a green strat copy with maple neck - no locking nut though (too expensive)
