Angry Stripped bridge height adjustment ZR1

Hey all,

I've scrolled through the forums quite a bit and haven't been able to find this.

I'm playing an S770pb with the ZR1 bridge. The bridge height (action) adjustment screws are both stripped at the head. I'm trying to figure out how to remove/replace them.
Currently, I have tried using pliers to remove them. I have also removed the tension springs, but still cannot figure out how to unscrew them without pulling the studs out of the body completely.

Slack strings and lock the nut. Take springs off. Take off the stud nuts and washers. Take bridge off with the bearing arms.

I understand that part. What I want to know is if it should just lift out without resistance. I have only worked on floyd rose and Edge 3.

Re: Stripped bridge height adjustment ZR1

Well, It is not lifting out without resistance. Surely there is a walkthrough somewhere...

If the bearing arms won't release push up on them from underneath.

It is trying to pull the whole stud out of the body with it. I am fairly certain that isnt normal. Foam and all
