Team J. Craft case and Cliplocks

I'm thinking of getting cliplocks for my RG1570, and my only question is whether it will fit in the super form fitted case? Anyone who has tried it, please post your results.

It will not fit definetely cause case is super precise in every nano milimeter..... You will have to cut a hole in case.... Do nt do that... Case fit perfectly well if you have prestige case..If you have Ibanez m100c case, - there are a lot of space... Its not super tight like prestige case

Wrong section--this is the "Off Topic" forum--no gear, music, etc related threads. This needs to be moved to the other forum.

Re: Team J. Craft case and Cliplocks

Don't close your case with the clip on your finish as pictured above, you will be sorry..especially if you are touring.

Why people like these crappy straps I'll never know, dated design, schaller strap locks are so much better as are the planet wave clip on straps....just my 2 cents.

I understand that JEM owners want the strap Vai uses and YES,the colour range is great and i would probably buy a green one if i had a GMC,but i would still use a Schaller strap lock if i was gonna use one of these straps.

Re: Team J. Craft case and Cliplocks

since it's going there....
Schaller Straplocks: $25- $30/pair
+
strap of your [design] choice: $10 - $150

vs

Dimarzio [plastic] cliplock strap: $15 - $20 shipped and/or tax included.

my reason: its an all-in-one solution. cheap, light-weight and "military grade" (or so what Dimarzio claims).

Personally, I prefer Gotoh's... Once I had Dunlop [not Schaller!] straplocks and the "protruding barrel" locking system eventually created a deep crevice in the upper-horn of my UV777GR during my gigging years - never again will I ever get these "press pin to release" straplock systems :P
I too have a PW Cliplock strap but that's being used on an Orange Microcrush; the bulky mounting system looks fugly on an RG and even fuglier on an S!
