Is there any going back??

I just picked up some locking tuners for my Strat - and they're so cool. I bought them so I could change tunings easily without having the strings take a few to settle in. And they're amazing. I think I'm a convert . . .

I don't think there is any going back. My first two upgrades for any guitar are always pickups (if necessary) and tuners.

NO way! I recently did the same to a hard tail Ibanez and this is better than cake! The difference is truly night and day bends sound stronger and all that!

I couldn't have said it better! You are truly a gifted genius with words. Thank you for that insight!

There is no going back! Next best thing to a Floyd/locking system.

Re: Is there any going back??

Funny, I've been considering locking tuners for my Strat recently. A few years back I fitted a graphite nut, definately an improvement but still I get tuning funnies after moderate whammy use/finger vibrato.

Glad to hear it works. Think I may now try it myself
