Thoughts on this trem?

It looks like a nice idea for a standard strat replacement.

Re: Thoughts on this trem?

Looks pretty cool, kind of like an Ibanez SynchroniZR trem (Only on non-US models I believe) made out of brass. Also, I'm not sure, but it looks like it would retrofit right into the cavity of a strat which formerly had a six-point trem. You won't have to worry about knife edge wear/lubrication. If you wanted it to "Stay in tune forever," like the page says, (or close) it would be best to install locking tuners, and a good nut. (I love fender roller nuts -- no friction and sounds awesome)

Nothing holding you back from buying it really...

Pretty much the same idea, with a different design.

Exactly. I like the idea of it, as the ZR trems are pretty smooth. I wonder how this Needle trem feels?

Looks like a copy of Flicker 3 from ESP

Re: Thoughts on this trem?

i actually think the cam design is patented by kahler. I am fairly certain they'd call that trem an infringement. It is a great idea, but I know someone already has patented it if kahler hasn't.

Re: Thoughts on this trem?

I noticed the similarities! Floyd's seems to be dive only where this guy's will float...if you're into that sort of thing.

Re: Thoughts on this trem?

Seems like this guy has a lot going against him. I wonder how often it happens that someone puts up a kickstarter for something that has already been invented and could have been found with a simple google search.

I see the same thing in science research publications. People often state they are the first to do discover something and a simple search of the literature shows it to not be true.

People need to do their homework! Look further than the first page of google.

/rant off.
