Tone knob/RG7620 issue

ill skip right to the chase, when i roll back the tone knob, i lose 90% of my distortion and output. ALL WIRES ARE STILL ATTACHED!!

its on my rg7620 with stock everything.
happens on ALL amps. its obviously just the guitars problem but i figured it would be worth mentioning
probably also worth mentioning that this guitar is muddier than my squire in drop G# with .12-.56's hahaha

thanks guys!!

Is there a capacitor on the lugs? If so, remove the cap and see if that cures it. If not, you may just need a new pot.

Good--you're going to need that for our little LED project, too.

My main guitar (a heavily modded RG) has no tone knob and a custom pickguard for H-H and volume only. Give it a thought!

Wiring is incorrect or something is bad.
I'm going to also bet that maybe your tone pot is dirty.

But, my bet is on a bad pot.
If it appears as everything is wired correctly, replace the pot.
