Yep, that correct. I bought it -88 so it's one of the old ones allright.

Here's the stud next to a new one:


It's got a long black trem block and equally long studs.

Okay my only question is can I use the original long studs and have no problems or should I upgrade to the new studs with the set screws for my Power 440?

i'd try the new ones w/ set-screws first.

the problem might be if they're not long enough to anchor down with the set screw. Definately worth a shot... glen

in fact my RG410 has a not-recessed Edge.

BUT

i've got those 'old school' posts even in my 540R that has a slightly recessed cavity (about 3-4mm max)
