unstable sounds from my new 7vsbl (2k3 edge pro) HELP !

i have been having a sound problem with my guitar the sustain is still pretty good but i am getting unclear note definition . when i sustain a note
on any string on the jem i get that warbly sound like when u hit the 12th fret on the high E (thin string) when the strings are dead and caked with crud. First i thought it was fret buzz so i had the neck straightend out and the action raised and the fret buzz has gone everywhere and it is still doing it. Then i thought mabee it was the pickup height/string pull so i have bottomed them out flush to the pickguard and it is still doing it. Now i think i have figured it out that there is something loose on the trem because when i stike a note any note, hit any open harmonic, open string and any string at the 24th fret , the sound still "warbles". It almost sounds like when u hit certian notes on the guitar and the springs resonate BUT IT IS NOT the springs ,the trem itself seems to be resonating. Also i would like to add that if i palm mute a note and let a note sustain it does not do this at all. i also have the springs tissue paperd so the springs do not resonate. does this sound like my problem or am i just crazy??? any input would be muchly appreciated.

Are u using straplocks? This happens to me all the time. They get loose and resonate.

Also where does the sound come from?.. the amp or only from guitar?

the straplocks are tight and the you can hear the note and the "resonationg note" kinda fighting with eachother through the amp and by putting your ear to the wood of the guitar.

If it was just one string doing it I'd say it's porbably sympathetic vibration of a loose saddle tail, but you say all strings do it. I would still take your fretting hand and palm mute the saddle tails alone just to rule it out though. Have you made sure the nut is snugged up? [not "tight", you don't want to crack the wood]

Could be the trem arm holder - make sure everything there is tight.
Tighten up the metal plate that is holding the springs in the trem block and if that doesn't help try and put some tension on the trussrod.
If it's still doing it after that see if all the tining machines are tight in the headstock.
