Urgent help needed. Goes out of tune..

Hi, I have tuning problems with one of my Ibanez guitars. It's a RG 550DY from 98. After doing a pullup on the trem the strings go out of tune.
When I tune it at that point it will go out of tune again after doing a dive.

I'm getting really frustraded over this. I haven't had this problem before with any of my Ibanez guitars.

These are the things that I have checked and fixed.
(All according to the instructions found on the Ibanezrules site)

-Checked if the anchors/inserts are fixed and not moving.
-New re-designed studs/posts.
-Filed the knife edges perfectly.
-Chapstick on the studs and knifes.
-New string lock blocks in trem (because of heavy wear from the strings).
-New stringes and stretched.
-Trem angle.
-Checked that the nut and neck is fixed.
-Checked the neck joint.
-Checked the trem springs and claw.
-Tightened ALL screws.

What else should I check??

Please help.
Thanks

Maybe your locking nut pads are worn? Not gripping properly?
Or a bad set of strings?
Maybe something is catching the trem, like trem cavity dressing is loose or something?

The locking pads are exactly the same as the old ones and tightened hard. I have tried 2 sets of strings so I don't think the problem is in the strings.
What is cavity dressing?

I'm sure about RGs, but on my Saber, they've put a thin layer of foam so that when you abuse the whammy you won't mess the wood up. It might have came loose because the adhesive aged.

I see. Well my RG has a black foam, but it's not loose.

Do you have your backplate on or off? If you have it on, then I'm totally out of ideas. However if it's off, then probably, just PROBABLY, your t-shirt might be causing that problem.

It's 2am in Vancouver, maybe I should sleep. Hope it gets fixed.

Check your knife edges one more time. Make sure that they have the correct thickness, around 0.35-0.37mm works great for me on my Ibbyz. And make sure that you don't have sharp corners on them, because that will bite in the posts causing tuning instability.

Also, you can try a different lube on the posts and knifes. I use a grease called Molykote DX. It's expensieve but it's alot better than Chabstick and it last longer and stands more pressure that also will help keeping the materials in good shape.

Re: Urgent help needed. Goes out of tune..

Ok I finally found a problem! The locking nut was slightly loose. Screws were really tightened, but.. the nut was moving back and forward, because the screw holes were alot larger than the screws. I have fixed that now so it's a lot better. Now it doesn't go sharp when return from diving, and flat when return from pullups.

The only problem now is that it goes slightly sharp out of tune when return from pullups.
Is my knifes to flat if this happens?

Make shure the locking nuts on the saddle aren't turned by 90!!
There's a rim on top of the nuts, it should be in the same direction as the strings (facing from saddle towards bridge!).
If they're turned 90, they will not lock properly due to the concave surface on the bottom of the locking nuts, which must fit on the convex saddle!
