Hey man, thanks. I was reading that it had to have some kind of lube in it and not just any contact cleaner. This one from Radio Shack has the lube? Thanks.

First thing to do it just work the pot back and forth where it's scratchy. Most of the time it will clean itself.

I read that somewhere online that it has to be lubed... something like Deoxit Faderlube but I am sure if what Rich suggested won't cure it I can try some of the Radioshack stuff and it'll be ok.

Deoxit is some of the best stuff out there. Radio Shack use to carry it but the last time I was at the local one, they no longer had it. They didn't have much of anything useful really.

Caig Deoxit. They have two kinds. One is "blast" type and the other has an adjustable spray from L-M-H. Cost is probably around $10-15 and the can will last a long time. You can use it on your switches too.
