Stewmac 0146 fretwire is almost identical .003" shorter but same width and overall height.

Warmoth FW6130 is also almost identical same width and .003" shorter.

Either one, you wouldn't notice the .003" difference, especially if you can fret good and don't have to do a levelling afterwards.

I think I have some dunlop 6140 at the shop though.

ok, sweet.

i was overwhelmed by the ginormous charts of tiny dimensions, and couldnt really make an educated decision.

ill probably go with the Warmoth so i can get my last three components at the same place and save on shipping.

I believe from Warmoth they sell it "per guitar" that is 3 2 foot lengths, you'll need 6 feet for a 6 or 7 string, 4 feet will leave you about 2 frets short usually.

well, my fretboard is only cut for 22 frets, do you think 4 ft. will cut it?

not with a 7 string. Plus if you screw one up you'll have none left, if you buy from warmoth they sell it "per guitar" which is 3 pieces, 2 feet long, it's only like $10 or something.
