Who should I have paint my guitar?

Howdy! I'm looking for reviews on custom shops, I'm wanting to get a couple guitars refinished. wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction? I see Guitar Guru is linked from this site but when I search the forum for this shop I cant find any feedback or reviews?

Thanks for any help

You'll save yourself a lot of $$ by looking into local automotive body shops....they have the tool's, equipment, and know-how to do incredible finishes at a fraction of the cost of the average guitar shop.

Re: Who should I have paint my guitar?

actually ive looked into this, around here there are a ton of Custom Bike shops... and their prices have been more than what im seeing on sites like Guitar Guru, Sims, and many others ive found from google searches. I'm really just looking for suggestions on guitar custom shops. Thanks

Well check out a regular smash repairer. If you are just after a basic colour, metallic, pearl, etc I'm sure they'll do it just fine for a decent price. Forget custom shops, they'll always be more expensive.
