Hi all. Odd request but I need a favor. I am getting a custom Jem 777 clone built with green, yellow, pink pyramid inlays and I am working on the CAD files. Can someone with a real Jem 777 measure the width of the 1st inlay (fretboard 3 position) for me EXACTLY? Looking at hi res images I'm coming up with 31 mm in width but just wanted to make sure. It's difficult to measure because it's not square and the camera usually distort the images.
Photo perspective makes it look off, but it's the only way the camera would show the measurement and the pyramid both visible. Measured properly it's 31mm.
The pink is just a piece of colored card stock to show how I was requesting the pic.
If someone could post a pic of a real Jem 30th with a ruler under the strings like that to show the true width it would be great.
