Unhappy zr bridge help

I'm new to both ibanez and double locking trems. I need to replace the bridge studs but i am clueless as to how to properly remove the zr bridge and existing studs. I could'nt find anything here about it. Could anyone please help me out or at least direct me to a detailed instruction. Id really appreciate it!

Re: zr bridge help

Detune the E, B, and G a bit and lock the nut. Once you pull the springs off the bridge should come forward enough to have slack strings. Then just pull the nuts off the tops of the studs and the bridge should pull straight up and off.

Re: zr bridge help

All strings off will probably be even easier.

Re: zr bridge help

cool, one last question. when removing the springs is it safer to unscrew them at the block or pull the loops off from the sides of the little bar thingie. im having trouble pulling them off the sides.
