ZR trems

Are the ZR trems and Lo-pros interchangeable? I just mean will the body require any additional routing?

Are any vendors carrying these trems for sale individually?

totally non-interchangeable w/o extensive body mods. i'm not certain if ibanez sells the ZR trem kit separately yet, but any ibanez dealer can check... glen

Would it be interchangeable with the Lo TRS II? And where can i check for the latest updates on the date it goes on sale as a kit and the price?

More than likely it will be sold as replacement parts only. There's way to much specialized routing for the ramps to concieve it working for any retrofit.

Yeah, to me it's like swapping a Kahler for a Floyd and vice-versa. Its just too different. Just accept that it's a different beast, and if you want it, build a guitar specially for it. Or, (more obviously) buy an Ibanez with it.

Well thanks for all the info. It seems like a really revolutionary thing so i was just checking to see if I could hook myself up with one. And for my next guitar ill look for one with the ZR

Hey Rich while I'm here, so you can't just buy a ZR kit like a normal Edge or anything?

All I know is the parts are not available yet, neither are the EP's, but I seriously doubt they'll offer the ZR as a "kit", half the "system" is the way it's routed making any retrofit the worst of nightmares for anybody.

Does anyone know why Ibanez only puts ZRs on S series guitars

I have wanted an RG with one for ages.
