Talking Ibanez, you guys need some new colors and options!!!

I think Ibanez needs some new color schemes and options !!! I'm tired of seeing black and white ibanez's! I want something eyecatching that doesn't say I'm into death, emo, or black metal...

How about bringing back some swirl finishes! I'm not really into the 5-8 different colored swirles, because there's too much going on there, but I've seen some neon green and black, orange and black and red and black swirls that look pretty cool.

What about a couple of different choices in fretboards/necks? I would like to see some more maple necks with multi colored shark tooth, dots, and vine inlays.

By the way I think the new rg350mye is pretty awesome! I love the whole 80's yellow and black with maple fingerboard...

I'm just throwing around a couple of suggestions I would like to see... I recently got interested in Ibanez after seeing some 80s vai jems and custom swirled jems and rg's.

Re: Ibanez, you guys need some new colors and options!!!

one step at a time, guys. we wanted maple fretboards and they did some, we wanted fancy colors and they put some, we wanted 24-frets S series and they did it, we wanted the Edge and LoPro back, and they put them back. don't pull the rope too much, people, Ibanez is not a household workshop, it needs time and high numbers for a step to move forward.

hey Ibanez, am i good enough for a marketing management job?

I'll just be happy if they added more GREEN to the lineup, as per my thread the other day.

GREEN is one of the colors that has yet to resurface with any signficance.

Where's the GREEN, Ibanez?

yea I think Ibanez should offer more options to the public. Take a look at Musicman. The colors they offer is absolutely stunning (not just some boring black) and in case you guys haven't heard of the JPX, you should check it out.

Re: Ibanez, you guys need some new colors and options!!!

Dear Ibanez:

I so very much want to acquire a JS2400, but I really want a color other than white. If you were to produce a 2400 in the two colors you see below on these 540R LTDs, I would purchase both of them for my collection!

Thanks for listening, Ibanez. I'm just a dedicated fan of yours who hopes you might be listening.

Regards,

Gary

Exactly, nuno!!! There's little point in individuals saying "guitar X should be available lipstick red or jewel blue because they're my favourite ever colours", because everyone has different favourites.

Although Ibanez do take into account some of our views, like the return of maple fretboards, it was a long process where they monitored the overall picture. Think how long it took to see the return of the "proper" Edge trem

PortlandAxe also should realise that the artist has a lot of say over the colours that signature models are available in.

Re: Ibanez, you guys need some new colors and options!!!

Thumbs up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely agree with Maiden89's proposal. I think IBANEZ should bring back the old neon colors, swirls, and ebony or maple fretboards, colored inlays, graphics, etc...
Also, I think reissuing a bunch of 80's and 90's colorful models at a reasonable price would be a good business...

Hope somebody at IBANEZ can hear our pleas !!!!!!!!!!!!!
