Talking Strings

I have a 20th anniversary RG550, love feel and sound of this guitar. Need to replace strings anyone have any suggestions. I would appreciate it greatly.

Re: Strings

I'm pretty sure Ibanez still ships with D'addario strings, most likely 9s.

I use Elixir 10s on all my electrics, but I do like the Daddario EXP coated strings - I'd switch, but they don't sell individual gauges so I can't use them on my seven strings.

Re: Strings

Try Elixir Polyweb ( 12000 Super Light - .009).
They last longer than any other strings on the market! All my Ibanez are loaded with them!

Ernie Ball Cobalts - sound better and last longer than anything I've ever tried...all my Ibbies have the EB Cobalt strings on them =)

Re: Strings

if you are in a standard tuning then take 9s...daddario for regular strings and if you want coated then daddario exps or elixirs...
