Beethoven

A long time ago when I was in to downloading music I downloaded a version of Beethovens 5th that was a rock version with drums and stuff. I think the strings are all synth. Anyway when I downloaded it, it said it was by Steve Vai. I found the same peice by Malmsteen and my mate found it by some one else. I'm learning it at the moment and think it rocks but would really like to know who acctually did it if any of know what i'm on about?
Cheers,

Yeah, there's been a lot of discussion about this on vai.com... They actually played some of these renamed songs for Steve and he said he didn't remember playing a few of them
