Check out my cover of Vai's "The Animal"

hey guys!

this is one of the coolest vai songs ever , i just had to try and cover this one. for the rythem i used a demo version of a pitch shifter plugin, wich was a pain because it wont let you proccess more than 10 seconds . rythem could be better because that cheapass plugin shifts the signal to mono..better than nothing i guess!

anyway, i had lots of fun and learned a bunch of cool licks from this tune before i recorded it! this is one cool song i tell ya

the "heavy metal" part in the backing is missing some passages, so i just mixed some licks in the part that's there.

save as:

http://www.digitalsoundplanet.com/Me..._000013563.mp3

ofcourse, i used the podXT on this one..

it was recorded with headphones, so you will find the guitar to sound better if you listen with headphones.

let me know what u think sound and effects wise.. im still learning how to make that pod sound better in recordingz

greetingz

David
