anyone got the [email protected] francisco dvd? what scale is he using before and in cool#9 ???

I have the DVD and will look at it tomorrow night and figure it out. I also have the CD, so ill see if I can figure it out tonight.

I think if you start in a Cminor scale then you should be able to nail most of it... I think he sits in Cminor right the way through the song actually... with the opening line of the first legato scale starting on the highest three notes of the g form C minor pattern. "C - D - Eb"

hes playing one of the modes im sure. I havent listened to the song in a few weeks, so im not sure which one, but he is playing on of them, so just figure it out on your own.

Mostly C Dorian for the whole song (with some Gb's borrowed from the blues scale too I'm sure). C D Eb F (Gb) G A Bb C
