Yep, it's pretty amazing.
But no one beats the little green man when it comes to the whole package.
Feel and technique.
Composition and performance.
Plus he just looks so cool!

I've seen Steve and Joe do similar stuff, but not quite like that.

Have you checked out Andy Martin yet? ;-)

definately the best cover of that peice i've ever heard on guitar.

Incidentally, the rest of the solos on that page blow- the man's VERY proficient, but next to no melodic development.

Although, i gotta say that slap guitar peice was pretty cool...

anyway, for sheer "dear lord..." factor, check out rusty cooley- http://www.chopsfromhell.com/guest_cooley_7ds1.html

The last one, "wrath" in particular scares the crap out of me. I can ALMOST play it as fast as he does... the first time through, when he's playing it slowly, lol...

Well, Rusty is one of those guys where you go:
"How in the hell can you even do that?!?!?!?!?!"
Then after about 5 minutes you go:
"OK, I'm bored to death.........."
Great technique, but that's about it.
Just my own opinion.

Yeah, that was pretty cool rendition.

I do hope you've heard Stanley Jordan though? I think he's at the forefront of applying this technique.
