Talking Fast Metül/Strange Timesigs/weird Video FX

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iet952jn5V0

First song where I recorded all guitars with the Axe Fx.
In the video I'm just playing the main parts, however, the audio has quite some additional overdubs... anyways, I hope you like it

Very impressive. Excellent song, great playing.
I noticed a gratuitous Behringer FC shot, why isn't your Axe Ultra in the video?
I'd never heard about indian reductions, what are they?

Re: Fast Metül/Strange Timesigs/weird Video FX

thanks for watching everyone

@eviltwin: The behringer floorboard is in there because of the volume swells of that tritone harmony part. But those are quite quick volume swells, so they're not that noticeable.
But you're right, showing a Behringer floorboard instead of an Axe Fx is not the usual choice

The indian reductions come from indian etudes, called "Korvai". It's something that I've heard of at the Freak Guitar Camp (with Mattias IA Eklundh).
E.g. you have to play a phrase, over and over, except that each round is one note shorter (therefor the time-signature is getting shorter by an 8th note too).
When there is only one note left, you go in the opposite direction and make every beat one 8th longer.
It would be a time-signature series like this 7/8, 6/8, 5/8, 4/8, 3/8, 2/8, 1/8, 2/8, 3/8 4/8, 5/8 and so on.
