they're a very talented band, but I agree the singing is a big old load of rubbish I've been to several festivals where they've been playing/headlined, and I've never stuck around to watch them because of that. Their latest CD is the only one I can really tolerate as it's a bit more removed from the whole power metal thing.

Saw CoB live once, sharing a bill with IIRC Nevermore and SYL (forgot who was headlining, Nile maybe?), and even though they were good, it was no contest that the other bands left a better impression.

I guess my point is that I'm not convinced that a given band is a "band of the future" if they're not making waves as a "band of the present." I'd still rather listen to them over some of the crap emo-metalcore that gets passed off as metal nowadays.
