Going to see Robert Cray

My wife bought tickets to go see Robert Cray this weekend, coming to the performing arts center here in Indy. Got Orchestra box seats which are pretty close.

Very excited, I have never seen him live but he has been a guitar hero/favorite since the Strong Persuader album.

What an amazing show. I heard every note, the sound was awesome. His playing was incredible and his voice was spot on. Quite an experience.

To finally get to see him brought a tear to my eye.

Fire, make plans to do it!! He is incredible live!!!! I have never seen anything quite like it.

It is a bit different than most shows I go to though. Everybody was sitting. It was kind of nice that way.

Will do... He definitely has his own style. Edit - Closest he'll be to me is Columbia, MO in Sept, a few hour's drive. I see he'll be in CO for a couple dates too... Might be nice to beat the KS heat and humidity and go see him in Breckenridge in August! Wifey and I have been talking about a getaway.

My daughter and I just went to see The Eagles a couple weeks ago. My first "sit down" concert, so I know what you mean. Quite different from the rock/metal concerts I normally go to.
