Guitar grimoire? - anyone have this?

I just ordered the first scale book, it loooks pretty extensive..I was wondering if anyone has looked through this or used it in their learning...

Yeah I have it. "Extensive" is the word I would use to describe it. *

That is an excellent book....what is very nice about it is that if you read 'extensively' into it (actually play while you see the scales) you'll hear the differences between the modes. *They lay them out in the book in mode order. *It's pretty nice.

I love that book...but yeah...it takes a while to absorb it all in.

that book was my introduction to anything that resembled theory --- a pretty decent introduction i must say. *i still reference it for exotic modes.

Guitar grimoire?

I have 2 of the Grimoire books and I find them very useful when I wanna look up any modal changes I might need, and again, I agree with extensive, I need to sit down and REALL dig in to them and get my $$$'s worth.
