I swear by my neckthrough 1979 BC Rich Mockingbird. If you put their vintage stuff up against the newer stuff, you've gotta realize that nowadays they're a completely different company that's practically licensed the name and the shapes.

Ibanez RG is the most versatile guitar out there.

You don't want to associate with metalheads who care more about the aesthetics of the instrument than their sound/playability. I've never met anyone like that who can actually play very well.

If you're a good metal musician it shouldn't matter if your Ibanez has a Hello Kitty design on it. In fact I think you should customise one of your guitars like so just out of spite.
Couldn't agree more. I can start a mosh pit with a ukulele. Only those not worthy need an aesthetic for Metalness. I got asked to join a band. But the "band leader" said I couldnt wear my cowboy hat and boots. I told then he doesnt want me then.

Not to mention the list of ibanez players that do metal. It's quite extensive.

Mr Frank Blackfire of sodom and kreator :P
