Re: Herman Bee talks to dimarzio

Makes sense to me. He's basicly saying the same as Steve Vai did 20 years ago. (And probably loads of others.)

Wow another Herman bashing thread. How original. He is a member here so it would really be nice if people would refrain from name calling since it is technically a violation of the rules to name call a jemsite member.

Nice video with Herman. Thanks for sharing.

To me Herman is a guitar hero. I don't really like DF or that kind of music, but i have much respect for what DF accomplishes.

Exactly right, and that's exactly how it comes off.

Re: Herman Bee talks to dimarzio

Some folks should follow the adage "If you don't have something nice to say about someone then don't say anything at all".

WTF is the point with putting him down? Seriously, what is the point?

In my opinion the OP comes across as:

a) An idoit

b) Slightly Racist

I don't like Dragonforce's music at all btw. But that's just a matter of taste.

Re: Herman Bee talks to dimarzio

Too often people look at the differences between themselves and others instead of looking at the commonalities.

Herman is a guitar player and he plays Ibanez guitars. That, IMHO, makes him one of us. DO unto others.....

Re: Herman Bee talks to dimarzio

I honestly wonder if DF would have so many haters if they weren't on guitar hero. Honestly, when it comes to the 'all their songs sound the same' thing, I think that, especially on their newest album, that every one is very unique. Ever listen to Amon Amarth? I love them, but the only song I can tell from any others is The Pursuit of Vikings (which is awesome). The obviously don't speed up their crap, anyone who has ANY experience with recording knows it really isn't worth the trouble. And their live shows from 2008 and on are spot on.

Granted, Herman and Sam are complete w*nkers, but so is Steve Vai, MAB, Rusty Cooley, Yngwie, and many of you people.

Dragonforce is a power metal band, and one of the bigger ones as that. The only reason you wouldn't like them (apart from jelousy) is that you don't like the genre's direction and sound in general.

I find it very sad that people have to go so far as to insult his race and accent. SERIOUSLY, how low have people sunk?
