how to get his sound? (Clapton: white room solo

hello,

if you take a look at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvnWuOjJDh4
at 4:06 the solos starts.

I really like the lead guitar sound.

does anyone have an idea on how to emulate this sound?

I dont have and E.C strat with lace sensors and i am working on the fingers...
(even though Clapton has been playing for a "few" more years than me )

what I have: ibanez 540R HSS (bill lawrence)
a line 6 pod xt live.

I've been looking at the custom tones library for this specific tone but i was unlucky...

any idea on what combination of effects (and their settings) I could use to achieve something sounding close to his lead guitar sound??

thanks!
