I attempted to show people some of my alternate picking exercises.

It's not really a lesson as I doubt it will help anyone, but I was bored tonight so here are some of my alternate picking exercises. Slow, then up to speed.

Watch, learn? I guess...

Why do you play clean slow and then when you demo it fast the distortion is cranked?

Eh, why not? I could do the faster one clean as well but I didn't see the point, it sounds better with that tone. The clean tone is just for ease of hearing the actual notes and stuff, whereas the fast part is lame show-offy bullsh*t

At least I'm honest.

I'd love to see it played clean and fast. Good job.
