Thumbs up If you want to listen to a new tune, I have the thing for you

This is a tune my mate AJ and I wrote a couple of months back. Kind of reminds me of Disturbed, so if you like that kind of thing, you may get a kick out of this.

I know you guys love tasty solo's, so make sure you get to 4:10 for mine.

I hope you enjoy it.

Toodles, Julz!

The solo is pretty cool, but I'd bump it up higher in the mix to cut more.

I liked the solo (and I don't think it should necessarily be turned up as much as the rhythm guitar should be turned down), but absolutely hated the rest of the song. The vocals especially.

I really liked the overall concept! And the vocals were good to me. Some restructuring and production work and you should have a big track! Good stuff!

There's some real nice stuff in there like the guitar sound, song construction, melody in the solo's etc. Maybe spend some more time on the production thoough to keep it simple and polish it a bit? That would only be the difference between you guys and other stuff i hear played by probably less talented folk..

Cheers robbiano, looks like i'll be back in cubase soon! Any pointers for the mix? I've already noted having the solo cut through more.

Hey Julzius, I'd pull the drums and bass out a little more and just a little bit of the solo - prob not much though as that sounds pretty good to me already. Just my thoughts, you guys need to happy with it being representative of you of course!
