I've heard the entire album ("officially leaked" on MTV.com), and I probably won't buy it myself. Not to say I don't like it, it's got some nice moments, but the sound is actually less original now than it was with Wes (as most of us predicted). Wes was the glue that held that band together. The band's absolutely great, but Fred's still lacking, and this album just lacks anything to hold it together from song to song. Wes was the Limp Bizkit sound. With Wes their many influences got blended much more into their unique sound (face it, before all the copy bands, they were unique, first two/three (debatable) still are). Without Wes, each song feels like a tribute to one or two of their influences. One song's intro had me thinking of Metallica, another few of Adema, and some parts even had Wes's trademark spacey-clean-with-delay sound...not cool.
While it's not a terrible album, it's not their best. I'll wait for Eat The Day. Until then, I've got Damning Well.
