Looking for Original Musicians

I have posted a similar thread to this before. However, I didn't get any feedback whatsoever. Here goes again.

I know there are jemsiters out there who have loads of talent, but aren't in a band... they aren't sharing their talents with the world. They aren't venting their creativity and originality efficiently.

I want to start a recording group, totally non profit, totally for the love of playing guitar and writing good songs. GOOD songs, Not songs that will end up on MTVicious bunch of crap.

I would really like to get at least a couple of jemsiters in on this because so many of you a brilliant musicians. I will be in contact with Bass and Drum forums aswell looking for people who would like to help out.

Basically it will involve sending a basic song, from person to person... who add s their bit of genious it then forwards it on until we have a complete song to post here for everyone to listen to.

The idea being that we will not be restricted by censorship, management or other vices put on musicians who become popular in the Big Bucks World.

I know a lot of people will think this is a stupid idea, but I'm hoping that someone will share similar enthusiasim as me.

I have been writing songs now for 2 years as a traveller, I only have an Accoustic Champion guitar (25 years old) hence the fact that i haven't been able to record these songs properly as I want them to sound.

If you are not bored to tears now... Please reply or PM me so we can start some FRESH orginal rock music.

Re: Looking for Original Musicians

Have you checked out http://www.myvirtualband.com ? Everything there is released under a creative commons license (which meshes with your "totally non-profit"...) sounds like it could be in the same neighborhood of what you're looking for, if not right up your alley. (I'm SteveC there, BTW.)
