Meeting an awesome gypsy player on Wednesday

Hey guys,

I'm gonna have the opportunity to meet an awesome gypsy jazz guitarist, and I want to have something gypsyish I can play him when I do see him...any suggestions?

Minor swing is all you need to know. But really, why would you play anything to him? I would rather hear what he had to say/play if there is any chance for a private lesson, take that chance. Might be a great experience! Good luck! Always fun to meet great players.

Yes let him teach you a couple of things, I take guitar lessons from a teacher who is an expert at gypsy jazz and swing jazz and it has elevated my playing so much.
