I love the first album of Michael Lee Firkins. I saw him live in the Netherlands in 1995 & 1996 and he just blowed me away.
Such a nice, talented player with an amazing sound and vibe.

Dude, did you get to meet Michael? There is very little information about him on the net - all I really know is that he hangs out with Jason Becker and doesn't use his Yamaha guitars anymore.

Also - does anyone have any tips on the slide elumation with the whammy bar?

Michael came into the audience after the show and i gor to meet him. I talked over an hour with him. A really calm, down to earth, humble human being, like all the greats
I've nothing but the upmost respect for the man. He told me his wife supported him, b/c living was very hard with just his solo music.


I got his instructional video on DVD. It was never published on DVD, but i transferred the video channel via my PC. It's very hard to get. Anybody interested, just PM me.
