Wow, I remember those day with Michael Angelo Batio, Freight Train and the singer that sang falsesetto in harmonies, which the singer also had out a instruction tapes which my singer use to try to duplicate because of his range.
I think Michael did the play the 2 V necks before Vai did... I thought he was lost in time, as he was as fast as Yng, but just based it on speed playing instead of inspirational style.
I rather have Rusty Cooley's dean :lol: that smaller lower horn would actually come in handy for some licks I learned from this 1 chops from hell thing Cooley did. On my ibanez I have to put my arm over the horn to be able to play it :lol:
His song 'Science Fiction' came on my ipod when I was walking down by the lake today.
I've never really given that album a proper listen, but this song was REALLY GOOD! There were some Opeth-y moments in there and of course loads of shred, but actually some really gripping melody too.
After all these years he still looks like a complete dork.
