name Steve's 7-string songs

Does steve EVER use a seven string? cuz the most obvious choice would be "Bad Horsie" and thats just a downtuned jem....

anyone know in which songs i can hear a 7-string guitar?

From Passion and Warfare: The Animal, The Riddle, For the Love of God {there's a low D in there once!}, The Audience is Listening, I Would Love To... hmm... i think that's all.
Nothing from S&R... Alien Love Secrets has some low B on Ya Yo Gakk. Don't think there's any 7 usage on Fire Garden. Asian Sky from The Ultra Zone has it. The rhythm tracks on OOOO go down to Db, if i recall, so that may be played on a 7 {although i think i remember Vai saying he recorded that song on a Strat}. I think that's about all there is. Supposedly, the new album is going to have a LOT of 7 string on it { crosses fingers!}.

The Mysterious Murder of Christian Tierra's lover is seven-string.

Liberty is played on a Universe but he doesn't use the low string. I think I've heard it's the same with Blue Powder.

I remember the Guitar Player interview with Steve when PAW came out, Blue Powder was taken from a recording Steve did in '86 with either his Charvel or Jackson and a Carvin head. IT'S ABOUT TIME for Steve to start playing the 7-string more!

He didn't invent it. He's not even the first person to use one.

And from the looks of that new baritone UV, there'd better be lots of 7-string on the new album

I don't think the 7 completely fits into his style of music. It's nice for a few tunes but Vai isn't all that heavy and other than really really long runs, I don't see him needing an extra string.
