Need help on POWERTAB! - Jemsite

Need help on POWERTAB!

are there any ways to jump to a certian part of the song when playing on powertab, if i wanted to listen to something I had to start from the very beggining, it a pain in the ass. Any ways which I can just fast foward, or go back into a certain part. Something like guitarpro

You should be able to position the cursor over the section that you want to start with and left click. The two blue markers should move there. When you hit play, it plays until you hit stop, then goes back to the same spot you positioned the cursor.

Make sure you don't hit the far left play button, because that starts the song from the beginning. It's the play button second from the left.

If you hover the cursor over the buttons, their function is described in a small yellow box.

There is something called rehearsal letters that you can program into the tab to specify a certain section, too. I never mess around with it, because it's just easier to left click.

how do I mute a track for playback? say I wanna mute the lead guitar but still see the tab whilst playing along with the rhythm guitars

I don't know. One possible solution might be to save a copy of the entire tab under a different file name and then delete the lead parts from the copy.

There's a link to the powertab website in the help section which may have the answer.

your solution would not allow me to view the lead tab... cheers any way... i'll try the power tab website unless any one else has a solution??

yeah dude , go to guitar setup , initial volume > off , theres about 10 different volume setting , off is the first one i think , good luck
