Nuno:Really fast(and cool)rythm change with right hand. How?

I've been trying to figure out to play a certain "nuno"-trick, which is playing "normal" tempo with the right hand, and then suddenly changes very quick tempo for a couple of strokes. The problem is that i just can't do it. Is it a trick or something I can do to accomplish it?

Examples can be found in:

2.32-2.34 in "Rest in peace"
0.16-017 in "Get the funk out"

wish I could help you.

I've struggled with that for years. Nuno really is a force to be reckoned with.

You mean there is no trick? Just brute force technique? Damn...
Sure about this?
I should'nt care about this, cause there are a lot of nuno stuff I can't do, but this is one cool sounding thing, AND I WANT TO BE ABLE TO PLAY IT!!!

well, for rest in peace, that part is all in the wrist. Nuno has a great wrist for playing the guitar, almost percussive.

So, if it helps, its all in the right hand.
